Opening: Farm Equipment Operator
Location: Hanover, VA
Requirements: 3-5 years of farm equipment operating experience is mandatory.
• Strong experience operating equipment in planting, harvesting, and application work.
• Additional planting experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work long hours during busy seasons and adapt to changing field conditions.
•Dependable attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing quality work.
Responsibilities: Operate agricultural equipment for planting, harvesting, and sprayer/spreader application with accuracy and efficiency.
• Support timely field operations during peak seasons with strong attention to detail and equipment care.
• Assist with general farm tasks, including routine maintenance, field preparation, and day-to-day operational support.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Work as part of a team while also handling responsibilities independently when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to drive a tractor-trailer is preferred, but not required.
• Experience with grain bins and/or irrigation systems is a plus.
• Mechanical awareness and comfort around large equipment are beneficial.
